Registering, Voting in Primaries

January 7, 2025 USGOPO Civic Engagement, Daily Briefing 0

An Access Point for Party Members.

The Iowa Caucuses are less than a month away. On February 3, voters all across the state will gather, debate and discuss who they would like to see the Democratic Party nominate as their candidate. Registration in primary and caucuses differ from state to state. Check out this link to see how to register in your state.

Questions for Reflection:

1. When does your state caucus or have its primary?

2. Do you plan on participating? If so, why or why not?

3. Why do some of the early states have so much influence on who becomes the nominee?
